Behold, the Madoka Magica… Candle? Wait, what?

Starting December 20th, fans of Puella Magi Madoka Magica will be able to get their hands on a rather offbeat merchandise tie-in.

NTMedia reports that official Madoka Magica candles will hit the market. The candles will be sold as a set of five, with each being a reproduction of one of the major characters’ soul gems. Each will be made with colored wax, and painted with gold accents. Each will have a height of 6 centimeters (2.36 inches).

The candle sets will have a suggested price of 4800 yen ($41.04), and will ship in a special decorative case.
