Ninja Slayer Starts Streaming on Hulu Plus


American anime fans now have a new way to check out Trigger’s Ninja Slayer anime series. The show began streaming on Hulu Plus earlier today, with new episodes expected to be added weekly.

In March, FUNimation announced that they acquired the domestic rights to Ninja Slayer.

The series itself was originally revealed to be in production in June 2014. Kill la Kill Co-director Akira Amemiya is directing the series, while Hiroshi Sato handles the screenplay. Character designs are being provided by the team of Hiroyuki Imaishi, Yusuke Yoshigaki, saitom, Inato Serere, and Shinjiro.

In February, Ninja Slayer‘s Japanese cast was announced, with Toshiyuki Morikawa playing the titular Ninja Slayer and Sho Hayami as the villainous Dark Ninja.
