FUNimation Streams Mikagura School Suite On YouTube


Mikagura School Suite Key Visual 001 - 20150401Earlier today, FUNimation began streaming Mikagura School Suite on their YouTube channel. The first four episodes are currently available to North American viewers in subtitled format.

Mikagura School Suite is based on the light novels of the same name by Vocaloid composer Last Note. One Week Friends is directing the series at Doga Kobo (Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-Kun). Manamu Amazaki is filling a double role, as chief animation director and character designer. The scripts are being handled by Masahiro Yokotani (Free!).

The adaptation was first announced in December, in the pages of Kadokawa’s Comic Gene magazine. In February, Animedia revealed the Japanese cast list, which you can check out below:

On April 1, FUNimation announced that they acquired the domestic license for Mikagura School Suite. The series began airing on April 6, and FUNimation has been streaming the show in subtitled format on both Hulu Plus and their proprietary service.
