Love Live!’s Honoka Kosaka Gets Glorious Fan Gifts

Today will bloom for μ’s leading lady!

But where are my manners? Before we go further, we should really set the mood with some music.

Much better.

Now where was I? Oh, right! Today, August 3, marks the birthday of Honoka Kosaka, better known as that clumsy and charismatic candy makers daughter who made μ’s happen. No birthday is complete without presents, though, meaning that fans turned out by the hundred to celebrate with their favorite center singer.

Artists from all walks of life, from hobbyists to celebrities like Noizi Ito (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya) and Love Live! character designer Yuhei Murota stepped up to create all manner of gorgeous artwork.

The official Love Live! Twitter account presented their best wishes for the character:

As did actress Emi Nitta, who voices the character.

Even the Official Love Live! smart phone game celebrated Honoka’s birthday with a special gift to players:

With this celebration, μ’s once again proved to be the muse that would bring out the best in so many passionate fans. The response has been nothing short of astounding.
