Myriad Colors Phantom World To Star Sumire Uesaka

The phantom world is one of many colors.

Yesterday, the official Myriad Colors Phantom World anime website opened its doors. The new site confirms that lead character Mai Kawakami will be played by Sumire Uesaka (Love, Chunibyo, & Other Delusions!, Show By Rock!!).

The series will be directed by Tatsuya Ishihara at Kyoto Animation, with Kazumi Ikeda (Clannad) will handle character designs.

Ishihara, Ikeda, and Uesaka will join voice actor Minoru Shiraishi at a Myriad Colors Phantom World stage event that will be held on Halloween.

The presentation will be held as part of the Watashi-tachi wa, Ima!! fan appreciation event, which is being hosted by Kyoto Animation and Animation DO.
