Your name is… Oh, right. “person who gets the artwork.”
Earlier today, the Kimi no Na wa. film staff unveiled a new visual for the film. The image features Taki Tachibana and Mitsuha Miyamizu standing in front of a panoramic view of the city.
Kimi no Na wa. is an original film from Makoto Shinkai (5 Centimeters per Second, Children Who Chase Lost Voices), who is directing the feature at CoMix Wave Films. Shinkai is also penning the script, while Masayoshi Tanaka (anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day, High School of the Dead) provides character designs.
The confirmed voice cast includes:
- Mitsuha Miyamizu: Mone Kamishiraishi
- Taki Tachibana: Ryunosuke Kamiki
- Sayaka Natori: Aoi Yūki
- Hitoha: Etsuko Ichihara
- Hitoha Miyamizu: Etsuko Ichihara

The film will make its global debut at Anime Expo. In Japan, Kimi no Na wa. will open on August 26. A preview screening will be held at the Toho Cinemas Roppongi Hills, which will feature a greeting from Taki Tachibana, Mitsuha Miyamizu Masami Nagasawa, Etsuko Ichihara, and Makoto Shinkai.
