“Time Travel Girl” Gets New Promo Video


It’s time to take a trip through time with the folks who brought us… Angel Tales and Takegami: Guardian of Darkness? Er… ahaha… Hey, look, a teevee show!

Earlier today, the official Time Travel Girl (Time Travel Shōjo: Mari Waka to 8-nin no Kagakusha-tachi, Time Travel Girl: Mari, Waka, and the 8 Scientists) anime website updated with a new trailer. The 90-second teaser offers a look at the show in action,

Time Travel Girl is an original show from Wao World. Osamu Yamasaki (Toward the Terra, Gestalt) is filling the dual role of director and series composition, while Takashi Kobayashi (Angel Tales, Battle Skipper) provides character designs.

Yesterday, Funimation revealed that they will stream Time Travel Girl as part of their summer simulcast lineup. In Japan, the series will première on TV Tokyo and its affiliates on July 9, at 7:00AM JST.
