Anime Expo 2016: Aniplex of America Unveils “ERASED” Blu-Rays

Last night, Aniplex of America announced that they will release ERASED (Boku dake ga Inai Machi) across two Blu-Ray sets, both of which are priced at $114.98 ($19.16 per episode).

The first set will hit retailers on October 18, 2016. Extra features include:

  • Original Short Manga by Kei Sanbe (Physical)
  • Companion Booklet (Physical)

The second set is slated for a January 24, 2017 release. Extra features include:

  • Episode 11 Textless Opening
  • Episode 12 Textless Opening

  • Companion Booklet (Physical)

ERASED is based on Kei Sanbe’s Boku dake ga Inai Machi manga series. Tomohiko Ito (Sword Art Online, Silver Spoon) directed the project at A-1 Pictures, with Keigo Sasaki (Blue Exorcist, Night Raid 1931) providing character designs. Yuki Kajiura (Fate/Zero, Puella Magi Madoka Magica) composed the show’s musical score, while Taku Kishimoto (Bunny Drop) wrote the scripts.

ERASED made its broadcast debut on January 7. Aniplex of America announced that they acquired the title in December.

Earlier this week, Aniplex announced the show’s English dub cast. The series will star:

  • Young Satoru: Michelle Ruff
  • Kayo Hinazuki: Stephanie Sheh
  • Sachiko Fujinuma: Sara Cravens
  • Airi Katagiri: Cherami Leigh
  • Jun Shiratori (Yuuki): Max Mittelman
  • Gaku Yashiro: David Collins
  • Kenya: Erica Mendez
  • Hiromi: Christine Marie Cabanos
  • Osamu: Ryan Bartley
  • Kazu: Bobby Thong
  • Misato: Mela Lee
  • Kayo’s Mother: Carrie Keranen

Alex von David is both writing and directing the English adaptation.
