Gabriel Dropout Gets Anime By Himouto! Umaru-chan Team

Poor Gabriel, doomed to be nothing more than a dropout.

Earlier today, Dengeki Daioh magazine revealed that Gabriel Dropout will receive an anime adaptation. The show’s official website and Twitter account opened their doors with a new visual, which you can check out below:

Gabriel Dropout is based on ukami’s manga of the same name. Masahiko Ohta (Himouto! Umaru-chan, Survival Game Club!) is helming the project at Doga Kobo, with Katsuhiro Kumagai (Luck & Logic) providing character designs. Takashi Aoshima (Himouto! Umaru-chan, Survival Game Club!) is in charge of series composition.

The Gabriel Dropout manga series kicked off in Kadokawa’s Dengeki Daioh magazine’s December 2013 issue. To date, three compiled volumes have been released, with the most recent hitting stores on May 27.

To celebrate the news, series creator ukami published a clean version of this month’s Dengeki Daioh cover:

Rough Translation: So, once more, I’d like to say that “Gabriel Dropout” is getting an anime seriesーーーーーー!
