“Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress” Compilation Movies Get New Visual

Can you tell me the tale of the Iron Fortress again?

Earlier today, the official Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress (Kotetsujyo no Kabanei) anime website updated with a new visual. The image, which features the major cast members on the helm of a ship, was drawn by original character designer Haruhiko Mikimoto (Super Dimension Fortress Macross).

The first film will hit Japanese theaters on December 31. The second feature will hit theaters a week alter on January 7, 2017. Both features will have a two-week engagement. Amazon will stream the movies internationally as part of their Amazon Prime service.

Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress is an original series from Wit Studio. Tetsuro Araki (Attack on Titan, Death Note) directed the show, while Yasuyuki Ebara provided character designs. Ichiro Okouchi (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion, Planetes) was in charge of series composition, while Hiroshi Seko (Attack on Titan, Kill la Kill) wrote the scripts. Hiroyuki Sawano (Attack on Titan, Kill la Kill) scored the show’s soundtrack.
