Chaos;Child Anime Gets New Key Visual & Character Designs


Before you ask, yes, this is from the folks who brought you Chaos;Head.

Earlier today, the official Chaos;Child anime website updated with several new visuals. The new key visual features the six main characters, who are standing in downtown Tokyo.

Individual images for each of the six leads were also unveiled, which you can check out below:

Chaos;Child is based on the visual novel of the same name by 5pb. Games and MAGES. The title will be helmed by Masato Jinbo (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 2wei!, Shomin Sample) at Silver Link, with Kazuyuki Yamayoshi providing character designs. Jinbo will also be taking charge of series composition on the project. The team of Takeshi Abo (Steins;Gate, Robotics;Notes) and Onoken (Accel World) will score the soundtrack.

The confirmed voice cast includes:

  • Takuru Miyashiro: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka
  • Serika Onoe: Sumire Uesaka
  • Nono Kurusu: Sarah Emi Bridcutt
  • Hinae Arimura: Suzuko Mimori
  • Hana Kazuki: Sayaka Nakaya
  • Uki Yamazoe: Inori Minase
  • Mio Kunosato: Asami Sanada
  • Shinji Itō: Yuuki Fujiwara
  • Masashi Kawahara: Atsushi Abe
  • Yui Tachibana: Yumi Hara
  • Jin Tachibana: Kokoro Kikuchi
  • Takeshi Shinjō: Takuya Kirimoto
  • Katsuko Momose: Kujira
  • Hisashi Sakuma: Tomoyuki Shimura
  • Shūichi Wakui: Masayuki Katou

Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, Sumire Uesaka, Sarah Emi Bridcutt, Suzuko Mimori, Sayaka Nakaya, and Inori Minase are reprising their roles from the original video game.

Kanako Ito (Steins;Gate, Robotics;Notes) will perform the show’s opening theme, while Konomi Suzuki (Re:Zero, Watamote) sings the closing theme.

Chaos;Child series will air in January 2017, though a specific date has yet to be revealed.
