Sentai Filmworks Streams Girls und Panzer der Film Dub Trailer


Get ready, sensha-do, fans. It’s time for one more match, of epic proportions!

Earlier today, Sentai Filmworks started streaming a new English-dubbed trailer for Girls und Panzer der Film. The 75-second teaser features key scenes from the film, set to Beethoven’s 5th Symphony.

Sentai Filmworks will give Girls und Panzer der Film a theatrical run in November.

girls-und-panzer-der-film-visual-001-20161015Girls und Panzer der Film is a sequel to the popular Girls und Panzer TV series. The movie hit Japanese theaters on November 21, 2015. Series director Tsutomu Mizushima (Genshiken, Shirobako) helmed the project at Actas, with Isao Sugimoto (Bakuon!!, Ultimate Otaku Teacher) providing character designs.

The film grossed over 2.3 billion yen ($22,075,055.19 USD) in ticket sales across more than 40 weeks at the box office.

Sentai Filmworks announced that they licensed the movie last month. The company is planning theatrical run for November 2016.
