The Kizumonogatari films adapt Nisio Isin’s light novel series of the same name. Aniplex of America currently holds the domestic rights to the first two films: Kizumonogatari Part 1: Tekketsu and Kizumonogatari Part 2: Nekketsu. Nekketsu made its North American theatrical debut on October 15, as part of AkibaFest.
