Sailor Guardians Hawk The Ford Fusion In New Commercial

I dunno. This one seems a bit more… blatant than the previous attempt.

Last month, 14-year-old Usagi fantasized about the Ford Fusion in a new online advertisement. The dreamy guardian of justice fawned over its style, while Luna sat to remind her of its industry-leading safety features.

This month, it appears that the rest of the Guardians also caught Ford Fusion Fever. In a dramatic entrance, the Sailor Guardians preach the virtues of the Fusion, from its driver assist and parking spot finder, to the horsepower under the hood.

Much like the last ad, the cast of Viz Media’s new Sailor Moon dub reprised their roles for the TV spot.

We should note that Sailor Moon isn’t the first anime mega-star to step into a shiny new Ford. In December 2015, Krillin and Gohan received the gift of a Ford Focus from the Namekian Dragon Porunga.

Not long after, Goten and Trunks came together to become a Ford Fusion in their latest display of power.

The Overdubs ad campaign hasn’t been limited to just anime characters, either. In April, David Hayter stepped back into the role of Metal Gear Solid‘s Solid Snake. In the ad, Snake to received an intel briefing from Colonel Campbell via CODEC, regarding the Ford Focus SE.
