First Seiren PV Focuses On Hikari Tsuneki


It’s time to say hello to Hikari.

Earlier today, the official Seiren anime website updated with a new promotional video. The 50-second teaser focuses on Hikari Tsuneki, and features ending theme Shunkan Happening (Moment Happening) as a background track.

Seiren will premiere on January 5, 2017.

Seiren is an original anime series from studios AXsiZ and Studio Gokumi. Tomoki Kobayashi (Akame ga KILL!, Utawarerumono) will direct the series, which features character designs by Naoto Hosoda (Bamboo Blade, Jinki:Extend). Kisai Takayama is in charge of series composition.

The confirmed voice cast includes:

  • Shoichi Kamita: Atsushi Tamaru
  • Hikari Tsuneki: Ayane Sakura
  • Kyoko Tono: Juri Kimura
  • Miu Hiyama: Shiori Izawa
  • Makoto Kamizaki: Shiori Mikami
  • Ruise Sanjo: Honoka Kuroki
  • Toka Maruishi: Juri Nagatsuma
  • Tomoe Kamita: Manami Numakura
  • Ikuo Nanasaki: Ryota Asari
  • Yukie Takato: Saki Fujita
  • Toru Miyamae: Shino Shimoji
  • Tatsuya Araki: Takuya Eguchi
  • Masami Onigata: Yukari Tamura
  • Yoko Kikuchi: Yukiyo Fujii

Seiren will be presented as a serial work, composed of four-episode arcs that focus on each of the main heroines. The three arcs, which focus on Hikari, Toru, and Kyouko, will be set in the girls’ second year of high school as they have their own romances with Shoichi Kamita.
