He who laughs last laughs most horrifyingly, if this anime is to be believed.
On Friday, the official Warau Salesman NEW (The Laughing Salesman New) anime website updated with a new promotional video. The 22-second teaser confirms that the show will debut on April 3.
The series will premiere on Tokyo MX on April 3, at 11:00PM local time. Yomiuri, BS11, and Animax will carry the show at a later time slot. The site also updated with a new visual, which you can check out below:
Warau Salesman NEW is based on Fujiko Fujio A’s Warui Salesman manga. Hirofumi Ogura (Black Butler II, Comical Psychosomatic Medicine) will direct the series at Shin-Ei Animation, with Fujio Suzuki (New Getter Robo, Shin Getter Robo vs. Neo Getter Robo) providing character designs. The team of Naohiro Fukushima, Asami Ishikawa, and Midori Natsu will write the screenplay.

Doraemon co-creator Fujiko Fujio A launched Warui Salesman in Shogakukan’s Big Comic magazine under the title Kuroi Salesman (Black Salesman). THe series ran through 1971, and received anime adaptations in 1989 and 1992. A live-action adaptation was produced in 1999.
