Space Dandy Director Shingo Natsume To Attend Anime Boston 2017


You know, this is an announcement that’s just plain, well, dandy!

Earlier today, Anime Boston revealed that director Shingo Natsume will attend this year’s convention as a guest. Natsume is the fifth Japanese guest and fourteenth guest overall to be confirmed. He joins:

Shingo Natsume has been active in the industry since 2003, when he worked as an in-betweener for Ikki Tousen. He served as a Unit Director on Fullmetal Alchemist: The Sacred Star of Milos, and made his directorial début on 2012 OVA Hori-san to Miyamura-kun.

In more recent years, Natsume has served as director on 2014 series Space Dandy, and currently helms production on ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept.

Anime Boston 2017 will be held from March 31 through April 2 at Boston’s Hynes Convention Center and Sheraton Boston hotel.
