Aho-Girl: Clueless Girl Anime Adds Taku Yashiro, M.A.O, 4 More To Cast


It seems that fans won’t be too clueless about this cast for long. The latest issue of Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine (July 2017) revealed six new cast members. The series will add the following:

  • Ryūichi Kurosaki: Taku Yashiro
  • Ruri Akutsu: Sayaka Senbongi
  • Atsuko Oshieda: Rina Satou
  • Akane Eimura: M.A.O
  • Kii Hiragi: Rena Maeda
  • Kuroko Shiina: Yuka Iguchi

Aho-Girl: Clueless Girl hits Japanese TV this July.

The series is based on Hiroyuki’s manga of the same name. Shingo Tamaki is directing the series at diomedea, with Keizou Kusakawa (Ro-Kyu-Bu! SS, Unlimited Fafnir) serving as chief director. Masakazu Ishikawa (Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE!, Squid Girl) is providing character designs, while Takashi Aoshima (Gabriel DropOut, Himouto! Umaru-chan) takes charge of series composition.

Angela will perform the title’s opening theme song.

The previously-confirmed voice cast includes:

  • Yoshiko Hanabatake: Aoi Yūki
  • Akuru Akutsu: Tomokazu Sugita
  • Sayaka Sumino: Sayaka Harada
  • Public Morals Committee Chairwoman: Sumire Uesaka
  • Yoshie Hanabatake: Yōko Hikasa
  • Dog: Daisuke Namikawa

The Aho-Girl manga began publication in Weekly Shonen Magazine in November 2012. Seven collected volumes have been produced to date, with the most recent hitting stores in March 2016.
