Flying Witch Anime to Receive English Dub

This news is a bit late to hit our feed but hey, late news is better than no news at all!

It was first revealed this past weekend at A-Kon before Sentai Filmworks took to social media to confirm the news but the series Flying Witch will be receiving an English dub when it is released to home video at an unspecified later date.

The series, which premiered on Japanese television and simulcast by Crunchyroll in the spring of 2016, was described as:

Aomori, Japan

In a land blessed by nature’s bountiful beauty, bizarre things begin to take place. Makoto Kowata, 15 years old, is a professional witch. She left Yokohama with Chito, her black cat, to live in the house of her relatives in Aomori. This is where she begins to train as a witch.

Even though Makoto’s powers are still limited to just flying through the sky, she and her second cousins Kei and Chinatsu surely make the most out of each and every day.

Sentai Filmworks announced their license of the anime series in April 2016 while Vertical announced that they had licensed the manga series in May 2016. The manga is scheduled for a 2017 release while the date for the home video release is still pending.
