SANTA MONICA, CA (October 12, 2013) –Magi fans will be delighted to hear that the fantastic series full of magic and adventure will now be available to own. Following their recent announcement of the Magi series’ English voice cast, Aniplex of America Inc. announced at New York Comic Con of their home video release plans for Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, in North America.

Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, a 25-episode TV series, will be released in two parts. The “Complete DVD Set Volume 1” is scheduled for release on January 14, 2014, and Volume 2 will be released on March 18, 2014. Both SKUs will feature the original Japanese and English audio with English subtitles. Details of each SKU are listed below.

Both SKUs will be available for pre-order through Rightstuf.com and Aniplex’s official retailers (AniplexUSA.com/retailers) starting Monday October 14, 2013.

Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic is an anime adaptation of the hit manga series by Shinobu Ohtaka, which has sold over 10 million copies in Japan. The English version of the manga has also been recently released and is available for purchase through VIZ Media. The animation production was done by the highly acclaimed A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online, Blue Exorcist), and lead by veteran director Koji Masunari (R.O.D, Kamichu). The anime series has demonstrated rising popularity in the U.S. while it was available for streaming online through the Aniplex Channel, Crunchyroll, and Hulu. The English dubbed version of Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic will begin airing every week on Neon Alley, VIZ Media’s digital anime channel, on October 18th.
