Mega-Hit Anime Series Slated to Receive Box Set Release for the First Time

SANTA MONICA, CA (March 17, 2017) – Aniplex of America announced today their product details and release plans for the Sword Art Online Blu-ray Box Set. This set will include all 25 episodes from the first season in addition to Sword Art Online Extra Edition and various bonus contents. Previously teased at the North American premiere of Sword Art Online the Movie -Ordinal Scale- on March 1, this will be the first time a complete season Sword Art Online box set has seen a domestic release since its original broadcast in 2012. This product is scheduled for release on June 27 of this year. Pre-orders will begin today (March 17) at 12 PM PDT on Right Stuf Anime (http://www.rightstufanime.com).
