SUPER DIMENSION CONVENTION WELCOMES THE RETURN OF MARI IIJIMA, SINGER-SONGWRITER AND VOICE OF LYNN MINMAY IN “MACROSS” AS GUEST OF HONOR

LOS ANGELES, CA. (September 18, 2017) Super Dimension Convention (formerly “MacrossWorld Convention”) is proud to announce the return of singer-songwriter Mari Iijima as Guest of Honor for their event this October in Torrance, CA on Saturday, October 28th.

Mari Iijima is known to “Macross” fans worldwide as the voice of Lynn Minmay in the original TV series, film, and most recently this year’s “Uta Macross” smartphone game celebrating the franchise’s 35th anniversary.  Ms. Iijima will be performing a special live concert immediately followed by a signing event.

Super Dimension Convention will be held on October 28th, 2017 at the Torrance Cultural Arts center in Torrance, CA.   Ms. Iijima joins previously announced Special Guest, renowned Japanese cosplayer Reika.  Other scheduled activities include the return of the “Macross Idol” cosplay and performance contest, custom model contest, live auctions and raffles, and dealers room.  New additions this year include a gaming arcade and artists alley.
