Studio Colorido’s “Typhoon Noruda” Hits Sentai Filmworks

HOUSTON, MARCH 16, 2017 – Sentai Filmworks is inviting you to ride out the storm in Studio Colorido’s fantasy adventure,Typhoon Noruda. The film, helmed by first-time director and former Studio Ghibli animator Yojiro Arai, features character designs by Hiroyasu Ishida and music by Masashi Hamauzu (ClassicaLoid, Final Fantasy X).

The film takes place in a middle school on a remote island. Shuichi Azuma, a dedicated student, suddenly quits the baseball team, which leads to a fight with his best friend, Kenta. When a storm hits their school one day, Shuichi meets Noruda, a mysterious girl with a strange necklace, who seems to be somehow connected with the typhoon. Who is she? More importantly, why does Shuichi feel the need to help her?
