If anybody’s noticed this week, the update schedule has been a bit, well… “strange” is a good way to put it. two past-midnight updates, numerous strange, somewhat abrupt endings, and a general lack of the laser-like focus you expect to find here. I place the blame for this on my own shoulders, and I want to apologize.
However, there is a reason for the wackiness.
This week, it was decided that Anime Dream, better known as “the other site” would be well… going away. We’ve been making final preparations for a small, yet dignified closing. Likewise, I’ve been going crazy behind the scenes, getting in touch with contacts and sources, to ensure that things here remain as close to “normal” as possible.
Because of this, though,, I’d like to thank you for your patience for this past week. Things will be returning to normal next week, as we return to our normal commentary and kick off Project S.
Tonight, I’d just like to dedicate this post to Anime Dream: one of the quirkiest, rag-tag sites on the net that somehow managed to pull together when it counts. A site where I got my start, and met many fantastic folks. It’s the end of an era for me, but the beginning of yet another… for you, readers, will have a front row seat as we continue to move forward. I hope you continue to join us here at the Herald.
