As you know, I began working on Anime Herald 3.0 as of this week. I’m already wrist-deep in the nitty gritty of design, as I sort through layouts and templates, color schemes and patterns to get a baseline for how things will shape up.
Still, I don’t like the idea of disappearing entirely for one or two nights at a time during the week. I love what I do, and I appreciate the community we’ve managed to build over the past few years. Because of this, I must admit that I dislike the idea of leaving people out in the cold in regards to information.
So, as we go through this, I’d like to try something a bit less orthodox than the average development process. I’d like to come out to you, dear readers, for input. By this, I mean that, as I move forward, I will present you with options on how we should present certain items. This could be something as simple as the logo, to the very color scheme we use for the site. After all: you are my customers, and we are but a simple provider of product. Your satisfaction is paramount, and it’s the ultimate end goal of the entire project.
I do hope that you look forward to the re-design, and I thank you in advance for your input.
