Earlier today, the first official trailer for Sailor Moon Crystal made its way to video sharing sites. From YouTube to NicoNico, the world was able to catch its first glimpse of the upcoming adaptation of Takeuchi’s classic.
To be frank, it’s gorgeous. The animation is slickly done and the characters, in an actual context, look fantastic.
Then there’s Mitsuishi Kotono, who easily proved that she still has what it takes nearly 20 years later with her narration and trademark cries of “Moon Prism Power, Make Up!” and “In the name of the Moon, I’ll punish you!”
It gave this snarky commentator chills, I tell you… chills.
