By this point, I’m pretty sure most of you know Attack on Titan. The epic tale of survival and struggles in a world overrun by Titans has become a phenomenon in Japan, and a key title in North America.

The title’s popularity, though, also makes it ripe for parody.

The folks at Dorkly created a short sketch that combines the sheer terror and awe of the show’s opening scene with a far greater evil: otaku stereotypes. That’s right, the village of Shinganshina is frozen in a combination of awe and terror as they gaze upon a giant, neck-bearded, cat-ear clad, headband-wearing uber-geek.

It’s a bit of a jab for sure, but the short does provide a few chuckles to those who aren’t afraid of taking one in the chin for a laugh.
