Today, birthday candles are lighting for voice actress Rumi Okubo. The actress celebrates her 25th birthday today which, not-so-coincidentally, is the same as the character she plays in Yuyushiki. Yuzuko Nonohara, who was voiced by Okubo in the anime, was retrofitted to have the same birthday as her actress.
Because of this, series creator Komata Mikami took the opportunity to post a sweet sketch celebrating the occasion.

It appears that she’s the first of many, as we’re starting to see various tweets and art pieces trickle onto social media. We’ve posted a few of our favorites below, though I wouldn’t be surprised if we see more appear through the course of the day.
