Look out, Umi Sonoda! There’s a new spokes-idol in town!
Starting on February 17, the leading ladies from IdolMaster: Cinderella Girls will star in a promotional campaign for Lawson convenience stores. Rin Shibuya, Mio Honda, and Uzuki Shimamura will don Lawson T-shirts in a series of promotional images for the chain.
Popular idol Nana Abe will join in the fun, as she sports a Machi Cafe apron and a large coffee.
The illustrations will be used in a variety of goods, that will be available both for sale and via promotional campaigns.
Raw Tea Designs
The IdolMaster: Cinderella Girls crew will appear on bottles of Kirin Raw Green Tea. Eight designs will be produced, three of which will be the new designs for Rin, Mio, and Uzuki. The other five bottles will include popular character groups that include:
- Ranko Kanzaki & Kanako Mimura
- Anzu Futaba & Kirari Moroboshi
- Anastasia & Minami Nitta
- Miria Akagi, Riina Tada, & Miku Maekawa
- Rika Jougasaki, Chieri Ogata, & Mika Jougasaki
Fans who purchase four-packs of select Kirin beverages will be able to collect points via a website. These points can be redeemed for raffle entries to win special limited-edition goods, that include special event invitations, sports towels, T-shirts, or a limited-edition duffel bag.
Customers will be able to enter the contest until March 16.
Customers who purchase 10-packs of Taisho-branded goods, or 3-packs of Lipovitan D will receive a free IdolMaster: Cinderella Girls poster. These will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis through March 2 (or while supplies last).
Ponta Point Club Gift
Lawson Ponta Club members will be able to redeem 2,000 points for a special commemorative plate that features Nana Abe in a Machi Cafe uniform.
Those who don’t want to drop that steep 2,000 points can spent 50 points for an entry into a raffle for plates and limited-edition T-shirts.
Cell Phone Strap Campaign
Customers who purchase a 500ml bottle of Volvic will be entitled to a limited-edition cell phone strap. These will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis until 3/17 (or while supplies last). A total of 14 designs will be produced for fans to collect.
