Mushi-shi: Suzu no Shizuku Film Hits Theaters in May 2015

It looks like Ginko’s journey is finally coming to an end.

Earlier today, the official Mushi-shi anime website revealed when the Mushi-shi feature film will hit theaters. The film, titled Mushi-shi: Suzu no Shizuku, will open in ten theaters on May 16, 2015.

Mushi-shi: Suzu no Shizuku will adapt the final two chapters of Yuki Urushibara’s manga series. The film was originally announced at the end of the second series, Mushi-shi: The Next Passage on December 21, 2014. Since then, it’s been confirmed that the staff that worked on the TV series, including director Hiroshi Nagahama, are attached to the project.

Mushi-shi: Suzu no Shizuku will be shown as a part of a double-feature with the series special Mushishi Tokubetsu-hen: Odoro no Michi.

Mushishi Tokubetsu-hen: Odoro no Michi is an hour-long TV special that originally aired on August 24, 2014 on Japanese TV network BS11.

A key visual for the film was also published to the Mushi-shi site. You can check it out below.
