It’s the end of the Seraph as we know it. Do you feel fine?
Bad jokes aside, a new promo video for Seraph of the End was shown at AnimeJapan last weekend. Earlier today, Geneon Universal began streaming the 110-second trailer on its YouTube channel.
Geneon released the first promo video, which is also subtitled, on December 19. You can check it out below:
Seraph of the End will be a two-season title. The first episode is slated to air on April 4. The full list of broadcasters and première dates is as follows:

Both the opening and closing themes will be produced by Hiroyuki Sawano’s (Guilty Crown, Attack on Titan) project, “SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]”. The opening theme, X.U., will be performed by SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]:Gemie, with new singer Gemmie providing the vocals. The show’s closer, scaPEGoat, will be performed by SawanoHiroyuki[nZk]:Yosh, with Yosh performing on vocals. A CD single that contains both songs will hit Japanese retailers on May 20.

Daisuke Tokudo will direct the Seraph of the End at Wit Studio (Attack on Titan, Rolling Girls). Attack on Titan and Kill la Kill writer Hiroshi Seko will write the screenplay and handle series composition. Satoshi Kadowaki will work as the character designer, while Gainax’s Hiroki Shinagawa will be in charge of visual development art. Masashi Koizuka will serve as the show’s deputy director.
