Masahiro Anbe is best known as the creator of adorable ocean emissary Squid Girl. When he’s not drawing the series, though, Anbe has been known to post doodles and sketches of various popular characters to his Twitter account.
A few days ago, Anbe decided to kick it old school with a few drawings of Ranma Saotome from Ranma ½. Two days ago, the artist tweeted his take on girl-type Ranma in a pair of drawings:
In a reply, Anbe mentioned that, while he’s having trouble getting them right, he’d also like to draw Shampoo and Ukyo at some point.
Lately, Anbe’s Twitter drawings have been a parade of [email protected] artwork. He’s been producing a series of tribute sketches for the girls of [email protected] – Cinderella Girls, from Miku Maekawa to Chieri Ogata. You can check out a few of them below:
