FUNimation Acquires Mikagura School Suite

Tarou Iwasaki (Baki the Grappler, One Week Friends) is directing the series at Dogakobo, which also animated Monthly Girls’ Nozaki-kun. Manamu Amazaki is pulling double duty on the series as character designer and chief animation director. Free! writer Masahiro Yokotani will write the show’s scripts.

In February, Animedia revealed the show’s full Japanese cast list, which you can check out below:

But her experience is far from ordinary, as the mischief-making members of the school’s manga, calligraphy, drama, and other cultural clubs vie for total school domination in a rather extreme way—ULTIMATE ATTACKS. Get ready for the high-energy high school adventure you’ve only ever dreamed of.

You’ll wish that your high school was this much fun!
