Keiji Fujiwara, Yui Makino’s Roles Unveiled for 2015 Ushio & Tora Anime

The latest issue of Shogakukan’s Shonen Sunday magazine reveals a pair of new casting announcements for the upcoming Ushio & Tora anime series. Keiji Fujiwara will play the role of Ushio’s father, Shigure Aotsuki. Yui Makino will lend of voice to Reiko Hanyū.

In March, the official Ushio & Tora website was updated with a list of actors attached to the project. At the time, though, only four actual roles were confirmed. The current confirmed cast is as follows:

  • Ushio: Tasuku Hatanaka
  • Tora: Rikiya Koyama
  • Asako: Mikako Komatsu
  • Mayuko: Kiyono Yasuno
  • Shigure Aotsuki: Keiji Fujiwara
  • Reiko Hanyū: Yui Makino

The list of actors that were confirmed for the show, though their roles weren’t revealed yet are as follows:

  • Ai Kayano
  • Aki Toyosaki
  • Ayahi Takagaki
  • Kana Hanazawa
  • Maaya Sakamoto
  • Nana Mizuki
  • Yuuka Nanri
