Earlier today, the latest issue of Ichijinsha’s Monthly Comic Rex hit Japanese news stands. The issue contains an announcement that the anime adapatation of Okusama ga Seitokaicho! (My Wife Is the Student Council President!) will hit Japanese TV in July.
The series, which is based on Yumi Nakata’s comedy manga of the same name, will be directed by Hiroyuki Furukawa (Strange+). Animation will be handled by Seven (Ai Mai Mi, Strange+), with Dream Creation taking on Production duties. Dax Production will be tasked with sound production.
The Okusama ga Seitokaicho! anime series was first announced on December 12, 2014 by publisher Ichijinsha. The April issue of Monthly Comic Rex revealed that the series will be a short-form title, with episodes clocking in at about 10 minutes in length. The article also promised that each episode will be “full of heart-pounding, sexy scenes.”
