Lawson Hosts Love Live! Movie Promotional Campaign


It looks like Umi’s going to get some mileage out of that Lawson uniform.

Earlier today, Lawson convenience stores announced that they’ll be hosting a promotional campaign for Love Live! The School Idol Movie. From May 5 through June 1, the chain will host give-aways for various Love Live! goods.

Points Promotion

During the promotional period, customers who purchase eligible Kirin brand items will earn points, which can be used to purchase entries to win various limited-edition toys and tchotchkes.

Live Live Lawson Movie Umi Figure - 20150430

The top prize, a limited-edition Poster Girl Umi figure, will have five winners.

Live Live Lawson Movie Umi Strap - 20150430

500 winners will win a cell phone stream featuring Umi in her Lawson uniform.

Love Live! Character Charms

From May 5 through May 18, customers who purchase three qualifying sweets will receive one of three character charms. These will be given out while supplies last, on a first come, first served basis.

Love Live! Pin Set

Customers who purchase three qualifying sweets will be eligible to win one of 20 commemorative pin sets. To enter, customers will need to send their receipts in to an address that will be disclosed once the promotion gets rolling.

Miniature Fan

From May 5 through May 18, customers who purchase two qualifying cup noodles will receive one of three miniature fans. These will be given out while supplies last.

Storage Boxes

Customers who purchase three qualifying Lipovitan products between May 12 and May 26 will receive one of five special storage boxes. These will be offered while supplies last.

Microfiber Bath Towel

Customers who purchase three qualifying Lipovitan products can enter to win a limited-edition bath towel. Like the pin set, customers will need to send their receipts in to an address that will be disclosed once the promotion starts. 100 lucky fans will take home the towel.

Customers who buy a 500ml bottle of Volvic will receive a Love Live! calendar magnet while supplies last. A total of twelve designs are available.

Twitter Campaign

Fans who follow Lawson’s Twitter account can enter to win posters signed by the Love Live! voice cast, by retweeting specific tweets.

Between May 19 and June 2, customers will be able to buy a variety of limited-edition character goods. Charms, clear files, standees, and other merchandise will be available for purchase at Lawson stores across the nation.

On May 9 and May 10, customers who spend more than 500 yen at select stores can trade their receipts in for a limited-edition paper file. These will be given out while supplies last.

The Akihabara Chuodori, Akihabara North Exit, Kanda Myojin, and Sotokanda Three-Chome will participate in this part of the promotion. In addition to the file give-away, these stores will sell special character items in limited quantities.
