Earlier today, the official website for the upcoming Joukamachi no Dandelion (Castle Town Dandelion) announced the show’s major cast members.
The series will feature:
- Akane Sakurada: Kana Hanazawa
- Aoi Sakurada: Ai Kayano
- Shū Sakurada: Ryohei Kimura
- Kanade Sakurada: Kaori Ishihara
- Haruka Sakurada: Ayumu Murase
- Misaki Sakurada: Eriko Matsui
- Hikari Sakurada: Yui Ogura
- Shiori Sakurada: Aina Suzuki
- Teru Sakurada: Shiori Katsuta
- Hana Satō: Yuka Aisaka
The series will be directed by Bakuman director Noriaki Akitaya, and produced by Production IMS (The Testament of Sister New Devil). Reiko Yoshida (Non Non Biyori, Bakuman) will fill the dual role of character designer and animation director.
Joukamachi no Dandelion, which is based on Ayumu Kasuga’s four-panel manga of the same name, will hit Japanese TV this July.
The series was first announced in the January issue of Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Miracle! magazine, which hit newsstands in November 2014. Last week, we received confirmation that Noriaki Akitaya was attached to the project.
