KyoAni Opens Twitter Account, Announces Fall Event

KyoAni’s finally joined the Twitter generation!

Earlier today, anime studio Kyoto Animation opened an official Twitter account. The company hopes to use it to provide updates on upcoming events and titles.

Rough Translation: The official Kyoto Animation Twitter is open! We’ll deliver a variety of information on various Kyoto Animation projects. Thank you, everyone! #Kyoto Ani # Kyoani

In addition, KyoAni opened a site for an event that they’re hosting with child company Animation Do. The event will be held at Kyoto’s Miyako Messe venue from October 31 and November 1. No further details have been revealed as of press time.

Kyoto Animation was established in 1981 by former Mushi Pro staff members. The studio’s worked on 21 shows and several films, including The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Clannad, K-On!, and Sound! Euphonium.
