Earlier today, the official Himouto! Umaru-chan website updated with a series of character visuals. Five images were released, with leading lady Umaru taking two shots, and the rest of the cast receiving a comprehensive character visual.
The images were later tweeted out on the show’s Twitter account.
Last week, Young Jump revealed the core staff members that will work on the series. The series will reunite Masahiko Ohta, Takashi Aoshima, and Yasuhiro Misawa, who previously collaborated on the YuruYuri anime series. Masahiko Ohta will helm the series as director. Takashi Aoshima will handle the show’s series composition and write the screenplay, while Yasuhiro Misawa will work as the sound director.
Character designs will be provided by Aya Takano, who previously worked on Polar Bear’s Cafe. Studio Doga Kobo is in charge of animation production.
A few days ago, Young Jump confirmed Himouto! Umaru-chan‘s first voice cast members. The series will cast the following:
- Umaru Doma: Aimi Tanaka
- Sylphynford Tachibana: Yurina Furukawa
- Kirie Motoba: Haruka Shiraishi
- Nana Ebina: Akari Kageyama
Currently, two key visuals are available. Well… technically 41. In addition to the key visual released last week, Young Jump provided 40 shots of leading lady Umaru Doma.
