Last night, Japanese site Anime! Anime! reported that Momoiro Clover Z will attend Anime Expo 2015. The group will host a live concert at the Nokia Theater on July 2. The pop princesses aren’t going it alone, though. They’ll be joined by a Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, of glam metal band KISS.

The two groups recently collaborated on single Yume no Ukiyo ni Saitemina, which hit Japanese stores on January 28.

In North America, Momoiro Clover Z is best known for their performance of Moon Pride, the opening theme for Sailor Moon Crystal. The group’s provided openings for a number of anime titles, though, including Bodacious Space Pirates, and Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’. The group’s performed in a number of overseas events, including 2011’s Japan Media Arts Festival in Dortmund Germany, and 2012’s Japan Expo in France.

In 2014, Momoiro Clover Z opened for Lady Gaga during her Japanese tour.

KISS is hailed as one of the most influential hard rock and heavy metal groups of all time. They’ve been cited as influences by countless artists, including Metallica, Iron Maiden, Foo Fighters, and Lady Gaga.

The Nokia Theater has been host to numerous prominent awards shows in the past, including the American Music Awards (2007 – Present) and the People’s Choice Awards (2010 – Present). The GRAMMY Nominations Live concert, in which Grammy Awards nominees were announced, was held at the theater in 2008 and 2011, and Nintendo has historically held their E3 conferences (before shifting to the Digital Event format) at the venue.
