Its not quite card games on motorcycles, but it’ll do!
The wraparound cover on the latest collected volume of Mimana Orimoto’s Bakuon!! manga reveals that an anime adaptation was greenlit for production. At the moment, no further details on the adaptation are known.
Bakon!! is a slice of life series, which revolves around a group of high school girls who fall in love with the motorcycle life. The series made its debut in Akita Shoten’s Young Champion Retsu magazine in February 2011.
The sixth volume is scheduled to hit retailers on May 20.
In 2013, the series was used in a collaborative effort with the Tokyo Metropolitan Police, to promote traffic safety.
