Discotek Previews Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, IGPX


Buckle up, anime fans. This summer’s about to get a hint of the bloodlust.

Last night, Discotek Media posted a teaser trailer for Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust to their Facebook page. The new trailer gives fans a glimpse of the newly remastered video for the film.

We also made a trailer for Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust. Planned release date is early September for the Blu Ray and DVD.

Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust is currently slated for an early September release, on DVD. Jose Argumedo, who’s working on the remaster, noted that the release isn’t an HD remaster, and there are currently no plans for a Blu-Ray release.

Discotek first unveiled their license for Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust in February. Sentai Filmworks currently holds the domestic rights to the original Vampire Hunter D, which will hit DVD and Blu-Ray in September.
