First Joukamachi no Dandelion Promo Video Hits The Web


It looks like the dandelions are in bloom, this evening!

Earlier today, the official website for the Joukamachi no Dandelion (Castle Town Dandelion) anime series updated with a new promotional video.

Joukamachi no Dandelion, which is based on Ayumu Kasuga’s four-panel manga of the same name, will hit Japanese TV this July.

The title will be directed by Bakuman director Noriaki Akitaya, and produced by Production IMS (The Testament of Sister New Devil). Reiko Yoshida (Non Non Biyori) is filling the dual role of animation director and character designer.

The confirmed voice cast for the series is as follows:

  • Akane Sakurada: Kana Hanazawa
  • Aoi Sakurada: Ai Kayano
  • Shū Sakurada: Ryohei Kimura
  • Kanade Sakurada: Kaori Ishihara
  • Haruka Sakurada: Ayumu Murase
  • Misaki Sakurada: Eriko Matsui
  • Hikari Sakurada: Yui Ogura
  • Shiori Sakurada: Aina Suzuki
  • Teru Sakurada: Shiori Katsuta
  • Hana Satō: Yuka Aisaka

Joukamachi no Dandelion as first revealed in the January issue of Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Miracle! magazine, which hit stores in November 2014. To date, a pair of key visuals has been released to hype the project, which you can check out below.
