Joking aside, Toei officially opened the official Dragon Ball Super website. And, with it came a the first key visual for the series.
The image shows a number of familiar faces, including Goku, Vegeta,Trunks, and Gohan. Also present are villains Majin Buu, Beerus, and Whis. said, though, a new pair of villains who share a number of traits with Whis and Beerus are also present. At the moment, their identities are unknown.
In addition to the key visual, the site showcases a new set of character design visuals, and a confirmation of several cast members for the series.
The current cast breakdown is as follows:
- Goku: Masako Nozawa
- Gohan: Masako Nozawa
- Goten: Masako Nozawa
- Vegeta: Ryo Horikawa
- Bulma: Hiromi Tsuru
- Trunks: Takeshi Kusao
- Krillin: Mayumi Tanaka
- Master Roshi: Masaharu Satou
- Piccolo: Toshio Furukawa
- Chi-Chi: Naoko Watanabe
- Videl: Yuko Minaguchi
- Mr. Satan: Unshou Ishizuka

Over the weekend, the first teaser for the series aired at the end of a scheduled Dragon Ball Z Kai broadcast.
Dragon Ball Super will begin airing in Japan on July 5.
