Viewster To Stream Blood Blockade Battlefront In UK, Scandinavia

Apparently, the Battlefront’s bringing itself to Europe!

Earlier today, Viewster announced that they will stream Blood Blockade Battlefront in the United Kingdom and Scandinavia. Details on the première date and formats were not available as of press time.

Blood Blockade Battlefront is based on Trigun creator Yasuhiro Nightow’s manga of the same name. The series is animated by Bones (Show By Rock!!, Darker than Black), and directed by Rie Matsumoto (Kyousogiga). Character designs are provided by the team of Toshihiro Kawamoto (Cowboy Bebop) and Koji Sugiura (Hajime no Ippo), with Sugiura providing the creature designs.

Blood Blockade Battlefront began airing on Japanese TV on April 4. FUNimation currently holds the rights to the series in North America, and streams it on Hulu, as well as their own streaming platform. The company is also dubbing the series as part of their Broadcast Dubs initiative.
