Moon, Prism Power, Android (and iOS)!
Earlier today, the official Sailor Moon website revealed a new mobile app. The app, titled Sailor Moon Drops will be a puzzle-action game that hits both the Apple and Android app stores later this year. Specifically, the site estimates a summer-to-fall release window.
Sailor Moon Drops will be a free-to-start game, which offers the option to pay for in-game items. Gamers can pre-register for access to the game via the official Sailor Moon Drops website. It will be the first-ever mobile app based on the property.
This year marks the 24th anniversary of Naoko Takeuchi’s classic franchise. In North America, Viz Media holds master rights for both the original Sailor Moon anime and Sailor Moon Crystal. Kodansha Comics releases the manga under their banner, as well as prequel series Codename: Sailor V.
