This tale of young love is going to have to wait a bit longer.

Earlier today, the official My Love Story!! anime Twitter account announced that the series finale will be delayed. The show will take a one-week break, pushing episode 24 to September 23, from a previously planned September 16 air date.

Rough Translation: [Broadcast information: My Love Story!!] Nippon TV will not be airing My Love Story!! on 9/16. Please note the break will delay broadcast of Episode 24 to 9/23 (Wednesday). #Anime_ore

My Love Story!! is based on Kazune Kawahara and Aruko’s manga of the same name. The series is being helmed by Morio Asaka (Cardcaptor Sakura, Chihayafuru) at Madhouse. The series began airing on Japanese TV on April 8.

Crunchyroll is currently streaming the series as it airs in Japan. Sentai Filmworks holds the domestic rights to the title, though they haven’t announced physical release plans as of press time.
