First Wake Up, Girls! Beyond the Bottom Visual Released


As we all know, waking up is hard to do.

Earlier today, the first key visual for Wake Up, Girls! Beyond the Bottom was released online. The film is currently slated to hit Japanese theaters on December 11.

Wake Up, Girls! Beyond the Bottom is the direct sequel to anime film Wake Up, Girls! The Shadow of Youth, which hit Japanese theaters today. Both projects were directed by Yutaka Yamamoto (Fractale), with animation by Ordet. Wake Up, Girls! character designer Sunao Chikaoka returned to fill the dual role of animation director and character designer, while series scriptwriter Touko Machida is returning to write the features.
