Assassination Classroom Season 2 Airs In January 2016

Class is in session. This period’s topic? The dark art of assassination!

The latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump announced that the second season of the Assassination Classroom anime series will kick off in January 2016. To celebrate the news, the show’s official website updated with a new key visual for the show:

Assassination Classroom is based on Yūsei Matsui’s manga of the same name. The first season was helmed by Seiji Kishi (Angel Beats!) and animated by Lerche. The series premiered on Japanese TV on January 9.

FUNimation currently holds the rights to the series in North America. They currently stream the title on their digital platform in both dubbed and subtitled formats.

Until his return in the winter, fans are advised to take care, and avoid mysterious telecommuting transfer students:
