Crunchyroll To Stream Kindaichi Case Files R Season 2

Earlier today, Crunchyroll announced that they will stream the second season of Kindaichi Case Files R (The File of Young Kindaichi Returns). The series will kick off on October 3, at 4:00AM Pacific (7:00AM Eastern).

The title will be available to subscribers in the United States, Canada, the UK, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland, the Netherlands, Turkey, Latin America, Spain, and Portugal.

Kindaichi Case Files R adapts Yōzaburō Kanari’s Kindaichi Case Files manga. The first season started airing in the Spring 2014 season, and ran for 25 episodes. Yutaka Tsuchida helmed the series at Toei Animation.

The key voice cast from the first season will reprise their roles in the new episodes. The confirmed cast includes the following:

  • Miyuki Nanase: Akiko Nakagawa
  • Hajime Kindaichi: Taiki Matsuno
  • Isamu Kenmochi: Juurouta Kosugi
  • Yōichi Takatō: Kenichi Ono
  • Kengo Akechi: Toshiyuki Morikawa
